However, there are multiple financial assistance programs available for families of children with special healthcare needs on a local, state, and federal level. The Parent Advisory Group has put together the following list to hopefully assist you in obtaining financial assistance. The links include a book that outlines how to go about obtaining financial assistance as well as the websites for specific financial programs. This list is not able to be fully comprehensive. Other parents and service providers can also be a good resource for financial advice. Most importantly, remember to be persistent and realize that sometimes it takes a lot of "no's" to get a "yes".
